Those scenes probably weren't filmed with the intention of deceiving. I mean, the trailer probably was, as a good trailer enhances the twist, rather than spoils it, but the dialogue was probably just cut scenes.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking/hoping. But I've I been noticing this happen a lot lately. As I think I mentioned in the last post, The Dark Knight Rises had scenes that I'm almost sure put in the movie to falsely advertise in trailers (though in fairness, they were at least in the movie), so it's hard for me to not be little suspicious/cynical.

I love how this MCU thread keeps getting updated and the DCCU thread remains stagnant. :P
Perhaps the impending release of Man Of Steel MIGHT result in an update?

I suspect Man of Steel is going to hit the wall hard and find that it is not, in fact, made of cardboard. Setting aside the fact that people need to stop encouraging certain directors quite as much as they do. . .

I don't really need to come up with a fancy metaphor to demonstrate why giving Superman the Dark Knight treatment is a terrible idea, because we're all pretty damn well aware of it.

But please do anyway :D

You're projecting dude. I know you don't like the DC approach but a lot of people (myself included) do. Man of Steel looks astounding, and as far as I'm aware pretty much everyone thinks the same.
